We the undersigned call on Walsall Council to reject a proposal in the Walsall Borough Local Plan Regulation 19 for a site, described in the Council Plan as ‘Rear of Skip Lane and Woodfield Close—HO1551’ to be re-designated housing land.

This site was NOT in the regulation 18 plan and little or no consultation has taken place about this site. 

Any development on this site would have a huge detrimental impact on local schools, health services and local roads. Walsall Council’s own Planning Officers have concluded that Birch Lane is Green Belt, not Grey Belt.

We believe this site should therefore be removed from the Local Plan and safeguarded for future generations.
